Alejo wins presidency amidst controversy

INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE and incumbent Sanggunian Vice President Gio Alejo won the presidency in the recent Sanggunian General Elections, garnering 47.42% of the vote against opponent Moses Albiento’s 42.55%.
